I reckon atleast 50% of all footy supporters would do it if they thought that they could upset a players mentality in the circumstances of the hypothetical. And in the case of a Semi Final or Grand Final 90% plus of supporters would do it IMHO.

Half the problem with this topic is the inability of the perpetrator to put themselves in the shoes of the other.
You don't get what you can't get.
I laugh at people who think racism is somehow linked to political correctness - no problems with hermits providing they stay true to themselves

Is that half the problem u reckon?

With a word like hypothetical in the title and all...?

Well it's my problem but I don't pretend to monopolize the discussion so I'm happy to take half.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

No, It's socially unacceptable

What happens if hes kicking for goal about 40 out from the boundary after the siren and if he kicks the goal they win, would you sledge him then?

Would I call him a f-----g ----, no problem

Would I call him a black ----, absolutely not.

surely if you are going to slag off at someone you can can up with something besides an insult about their race?

I've heard plenty of good insults over the years without a mention of the persons race.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

I know what I know and I don't what I don't.
But you dont know what I know and you presume you do.
I suspect we both have a point but that's as far as I'll go.

Had Nick Riewoldt standing close to the fence against the Saints, asked him politely how his "small goods " were going ?? LOL he looked back, wasnt impressed, Luke McGaune turned around and smiled.
Funny at the time, LOL
