Otto's dig

Quote
From The Age

"It's really stable at Geelong, that's a huge positive," Ottens said today during a community camp in the western Victorian town of Horsham.

"There's a lot less distraction which allows you to totally focus on footy.

"At times it wasn't like that at Richmond.

"There was a lot going on, a lot in the papers and cameras around all the time.

"For the younger guys especially, it's probably the last thing they need when they're trying to concentrate on footy."

Geez let's not have to perform under a bit of pressure Brad  ::).

Otto doesn't know much about Geelong. It's a one team town (in)famous for distracting and inflating the abilities of their players. 4 GF losses in the late 80's to mid 90's says it all.

Bring on Round 1  :thumbsup

MT, Otto did go on to say thanks to us for handling the trade so well, so good on him for that.

Interested to see how he goes this year

That's true LT.

Just wished he was upfront with us about wanting to leave. He's taking a Buckley-like gamble switching clubs because he thinks Geelong will have more success. With Ben Graham OS and Steven King injury-prone the pressure will be on him. If he doesn't produce the cameras and papers will still be around.

I reckon we should just get on with it  - its just a part of footy. Otto left us, but we got Browny in similar circumstances 12 months earlier. Let's move on.

Stuff Otto - we all make decisions in our lives and we will just have to live with them.
Bad luck he made a bad one  ;D

LMAOOO@Jake the diplomat suggesting we should move on :rollin

Otto will be fine at Geelong for a minute.
It's when the pressure and injuries kick in that we will see his true colors (of which we have seen)
