Ben Nason should probably sub again. Hes a type of player you can bring on in the 3rd and he can impact up forward as a crumbing type forward.

BrownE stiff not to get named even as an emergency. Too bad if Gus hurts his vagina before the game and Nikala Vickery has to go it alone  :police:

Who said the sub had to be from the bench?

As penance Jackson should be sub  ;D

Not if we want to win the game and shut down Mundy or Pav! But I agree - he doesn't deserve a straight run in.

just an observation it may mean nothing or it may mean something.

just looking at freo they go in with just one genuine small in ballantyne. richmond goes in with 7. one thing for sure we dont want this game to become a grind.

fremantle also only have 3 or 4 that you would call skinnys. richmond well we have a fair few.
i can see fremantle later in the yr with both barlow and morabito playing thru the midfield. when they do come back it will free pavlich up to go back to the  forward line as i reckon they lack a quality  key forward right at this moment.
i also think zac clarke or griffen will come into the team at some stage likely the last third of the season.

i suppose im pointing people to the height size differential we have not just this week against freo but most weeks we against most sides. will say though the past few weeks structurally we have been much better, still not happy with the size issue though.

I think we are still sorting through our smalls to see who are keepers and who aren't. They latter are the most likely to face the chop at the end of the season. Our spine isn't settled either. Really only Jack is confirmed. Miller is a stop-gap until Griffiths is right to the thrown in; Gus is no certainty as our No.1 ruck going forward; and our key defenders are known already to be too small and we need another big key backman. We are still along way off so no surprise we are still dealing with size or rather lack of it issues.

I would say Nason. Add some pace when the game has slowed down in the second half.

Astbury and Moore will fingers crossed make a case for being in our 2/3 key defenders over the next month.
Ditto post and griffiths should pressure miller

And by the 2nd half of the year browne or derickx forcing out Graham would be nice.

Due to the list being young and lacking experience it's hard to tell outside the stand out who will be in our best side.

Even webbery. Helbig. Dea  running types somewhat nknowns.

Because our young talls are still vying for postion doesn't equate to having big holes in the list as implied in thr scully thread.

I'd be looking a playing Lids on Pav if Pav is in the middle. It worked a treat when they played Lids off Goddard  ;D

I hope Newy goes to a wing on Fyfe, Jackson on Mundy, and Cotch head to head in the middle on Pav.  :gotigers
