« on: May 13, 2011, 04:36:04 PM »
SEN are talking about footy superstitions at the moments given it's Friday 13th today.

So what footy superstitions does everyone here have? It can be a piece of clothing you always wear, carrying lucky charms, things you always do before a game, etc...

I had a bat before a game once and kicked a bag. Did it again the next week and played well. Did it again the week after and was poohouse. That's about it for me.

Nah mate, Im sitting in semi retirement anyway (waiting for an offer to collect cash by sitting in the square  ;D ). I still had the occasional tug before a game but it was never the same as my first two. they were special.

Nothing would have worked in the last 10 years

How long before the game?

I used to always have one particular pair of jocks that i wore when i played.

A couple of years ago I had had a good winning streak wearing a red and black shirt, that i was given, to the pub. Then we played essendon so it got the arse and we won so it's never seen a richmond game since.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
