This week’s nominee has quickly earned the praise of his coaches and teammates since joining the senior ranks this season. Bodey plays with a level of courage and intelligence well beyond his years and at just 18 years of age, it’s exciting to think just how good he can get. A key contributor to the Bat’s early success, Bodey was once again one of UTS’s best players in a narrow round four loss to the reigning Premiers, Sydney University.

AFL Tonight on Fox Footy also mentioned his older brother Bailey Lambert (who played a few games for our VFL side a couple of years ago before switching to Frankston) is getting a lot of interest in the mid season draft.

Tigers champ’s son a mid-season draft bolter

The son of a Tigers champ has made a strong case to be given a shot in the mid-season draft.

Chris Naish on the Talking Tigers podcast said his youngest Charlie is 16 years old. So I'm presuming he will be available in the 2023 draft. Charlie's favourite player is Dusty by the way.

Supposedly the stand out of the three brothers and apparently already bigger than Patrick ...though admittedly that ain't saying much.... :shh

There you go Tiger Supporters. Another potential Father/ Son to end up at Tigerland. Samual Frangalas, son of former Richmond Great Gary. I’m not sure if he’s eligible for the father son, but because of Gary’s playing days at Tigerland I thought I’d give this boy a head start, to claim him first. We all know Gary was recruited by the Tigers from the Sydney Swans where Gary played mainly on the ball and Half forward.
Samual Frangalas  at a height of 186 cm and plays as a Mid/Fwd, and a healthy 87 kg and  still 16, and the boy is still growing.
David Clencie  the Tigers  should be looking into this boy, maybe you should be giving Gary another interview to find out more of this potential Tiger star.
Gary if your reading this keep your boy in good stead

nb. Gary only played 17 games with us.

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Yeah probably.

If he's got any brains he'll see that his brother wasn't good enough.

Just another skinny, bruise-free HBF/winger. Dime a dozen.

Charlie Naish's Northern Knights were thrashed and he wasn't named in either their bests nor goalkickers.

Nathan Bower's 19 year old son Tom fared better where he kicked a goal and was named in the Oakleigh Chargers' bests who defeated the Calder Cannons.

The week prior Tom Bower produced a game-high three goals (including the winner) from 12 disposals and four marks against the Tassie Devils.
