Browne  :o

Well I hope he proves me wrong and shows more than Gus. Needs to run out the game and provide marking options all over the ground. Against 3 ruckmen I think his fitness will definitely come into question...but if he can show us he is better ruck option than Gus then I will be behind him 100%  :gotigers

The Farmer selection seemed to come from nowhere. Has he been performing well in the 2's ???

Jackstar - Rance was not on those players for the entire game. Especially Petrie, Rance moved onto him well after he kicked most of his goals, I think 4 were on McGuane, 2 on Rance. Against Freo Rance was credited with only having 2 goals kicked on him. You only need to look at the Dogs game and McGuane was given a 3rd string forward on Liam Jones who is 195cm and only played 10 games, where as Rance had to take the 200cm Minson who's played over 100 games and kicked over 60 goals.

Rance is not the problem down back, he has been given the big jobs over McGuane all season and for a kid who's only played 30 games so far he's done pretty bloody well considering he has no support down there. Now don't twist my words to think I mean he's been faultless, he hasn't, but he's show massive improvement and is definitely worth persisting with.

You are on the back of the wrong player down there.

they moved him early against petrie

Took the words out of my mouth Stripes.

BrownE may be able to contest the centre bounces better than Gus but he's got his work cut out trying to keep up with Hille, Ryder and Bellchambers for 120 minutes  :help. It seems Vickery will have to have more time in the ruck to help out.

The Farmer selection is out of the blue for mine as well. I don't recalling him starring at VFL level since he's come back from injury either. I would suspect he is still underdone as well. Essendon don't have a gun forward like Jack but they are winning games via their midsize forwards. Obviously we are worried about controlling them if Farmer has been rushed back into the side.

Tucky in to try and exploit the absence of Watson in the Bombers' midfield and get us well onto in the contested footy at stoppages. First time this year we'll have Tucky and Jacko in the same side so good luck with our kicking efficiency  :-\.

WP will be pleased  ;D.

Hopefully Postie performs as well as he did in 2009 against the Dons. An opportunity to step up and deliver at AFL level. He's been in reasonable form at VFL level so deserves the chance. He can also play at both ends of the ground unlike Miller.

Well, if he can contest in the ruck, he would already be a better option than Gus who cant do anything anywhere of any worth  :sleep

If Postie does well I think he will be a real chance to keep his spot.
