He's been a gun in EVERY final that the Bulldogs have played.  Literally close to BoG every time.

Certainly wasn't a gun yesterday - things got tough he went missing again  ;D

Great to be good in finals but you need to be able to stand up for 22 rounds, in tough times and help get your team there
We see many good H&A players go completely missing in finals.  Would be good to get a proven finals performer.

Ward averaging 15 possies in the last 4 games - Hardly a superstar performer

Wnet missing again. Missed a crucial goal and to think they could have had Buddy but chose Griffen  ;D

Higgins, Ward i would enquire about. Higgins is a classy half forward that we need and is what Mitch Morton should of been. Ward is tough and a midfield, wing position.

Would not touch Griffen. Downhill skier, have not seen a game where he has single handedly either kept the Dogs in it or been the difference between winning and losing. He is just a contributor or for the most part non contributor. Under pressure goes missing I still remember the drawn game we had with the Dogs in 08 and that tackle by Lids I think it was in the last quarter. Dropped his head after that at a critical time. Unimpressive.

We need RFC fans to flood talk back on radio after Dogs games and criticise the Doggies on getting Griffen and not Buddy to the point where they start writing it in articles and stick the boot in. Can you imagine we were the ones falling on grace and what they would be writing. :-\

Griffen has escaped an amazing amount of criticism compared to Tambling.
Should cope far more considering he went higher in the draft.

agree griffen has been every bit as good as deledio has been for us. both have performed very similar roles for their sides and in basic stats they are very similar.

this thread is typical of our supporters underrating opposition players while putting our players on pedestals.

its funny no one wants goddard at age 25 bloody hell griffens not good enough fisher is too old no one likes lake  hes too old as well.

we dont have a spine we have a few decent mids we dont have any decent rucks we are devoid of leadership and experience lack size and structure and people wouldnt touch these players in a fire sale.

id take any of those players in a heart beat and many others as well.
