Summary of Reece on 3aw with Gerard Healy and Dwayne Russell
* Found out about the rising star nomination before Jack's tweet. He didn't know about the tweet until later that night.
* Don't think Jack knew about the embargo. Jack just got very excited.
* He's not on twitter so he knew nothing of it.
* Conca is Italian. Dad born in Italy. All grandparents and further back all Italian.
* Played soccer until 12-13 y.o. then decided to change over to footy along with his brother. Started playing with a few mates in high school and just took it from there.
* WA U18 had a talented group last year (Matera has been nominated as well).
* Thrilled to get the opportunity to play so many games this year. Hardwick has given him the chance to play. Wants to finish off the year strongly.
* Was a Swans supporter growing up but had no preference when drafted.
* Russell said as rising star you'll now get tagged. Reece said nah Dusty and Cotch are ahead of me. We're doing a fair bit of bodywork around stoppages (blocking) to help Dusty btw. Cotch as well.
* Healy said there's people claiming Conca will be the best ever player of Italian heritage. Dippa then rang in saying what about me and starting talking Italian with Reece asking him how he's going. Reece just replied "così così" which means so-so and Healy and Russell laughed saying anyone can say that in Italian.
