Tigers vs Port game thread
« on: May 23, 2011, 02:26:56 PM »
RFCO just tweeted there'll be a training session at 3pm on Friday and a few promotional activities for those Tiger supporters in Darwin to get to. Game on Saturday night.

The Tiges are overwhelming  favourites with the bookies btw:
Richmond        $1.24
Port Adelaide   $4.60

Even though Port are playing with all the class and conviction of a rubbery old turd, I'm a little worried about this game.  :-[
For some reason I can just see us having a stinker and some jerk like Motlop kicking eight.
Years of mediocrity have made me a nervous wreck.

Me too, call it mental scarring, but whenever we're favourite, we seem to cough the game up.

feel the same way.

In some aspects this will be our biggest test of the year, mentally anyway.

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

In all honesty we should pump the living crap out of them. I was more worried against the Dogs and the Bombers, we play well against Port.

In the bag, in the bag, honestly if we don't beat this Port side we are about as bad as them, we shouldn't have dropped the Dogs game but we did. No excuses here, big percentage boosing opportunity here!!!!! :thumbsup

I keep saying it I want what you are smoking WAT

In the bag? Like others; I am very nervous about this game. I also hope that selling a home game intersate doesn't come back to bite on the rear end  ;D

I'll be rather annoyed if bloody Westhoff decides to have one of his good games  :banghead I hate that weirdo. We should get a win.

Big Browney might struggle in the heat but hopefully he does well. He's better than Gus (would rather play 1 short than have Gus running around again  :lol

I will post you some WP.. ;)

Really, wouldn't you think that out of all the games we have played this year, this one is the one we should all be the most confident about??? Every one was more confident going into the Carlton, Hawks, Bulldogs games that we lost and I would have thought they were the hardest ones to call.

I was nervous about this one too then I heard Dimma talk about how he was ensuring the players discussed our poor record against Port and the danger they present and now I feel much more assured we will win this game comfortably  :thumbsup :shh

Nervous again.
Don't care about the margin.
4 points will do me in the win column.
