* We were winless this time last year so there's been a lot of development now we have 3 wins and a draw (4 with the Essendon win). We were in other games as well - lost by just 20 points to Carlton and we still felt we should have beaten the Bulldogs or at least started better. Dusty has come a long way; Jack is have improved his on-field stuff and off-field leadership. So many boys have improved in leaps and bounds including first year players.
* Best position? Enjoy half-back and have learnt a lot from Leppa but also enjoy pushing into the middle as you come off sore all over and know you've played a game.
* Difficult to push forward to beat a tag as pup hogs the goalsquare lol.
* Personal goals? Asked Dimma at the start of the year about how he could improve and Dimma told him he needed to get stronger defensively - spoils, tackles, etc...
* Difficult not to looking forward (finals) and it's a bit embarrassing that he and Newy have played for so long without finals. Although we are good offensively we still leak too many goals defensively and to be a good finals side you need to have a strong defensive mindset. We are not there yet but it is definitely something Dimma is enforcing in us and we'll get better at.
* Jake King drives a BMW. Not bad for a bloke from Heidelberg lol.
* Jack is a tightbehind lol. Wouldn't give the push-up King $50.
* Dimma is very approachable. He's knows the line between being your mate but is also on edge and you don't know when he will flip. Dimma has brought a real togetherness into the club - not just between the boys but also bringing in wives and girlfriends. Richo said that's the Tommy Hafey mantra.
* Dusty is flying. Don't get too close to him at the gym with that stiff arm. A string to his bow he can push aside seasoned players and kick long goals.
* New facilities - poles apart from the old smelly rooms with possum crap and mould. It's all fresh now and you want to come to the club.
* Wants to be a one club player. Calls Mike Sheahan "Reg" lol. Hard to see himself going to another club where you're going back to where Richmond once was. You can see we are building something here.
* Richo asked Lids to compare himself to other Kyabram greats like Dick Clay and Kayne Pettifer lol. Lids said he'll be happy if he ends up as good as Clay who could star on a wing or full back win 4 flags.

* Newy's been a top leader. Handled the changeover from Plough and with the new coaching staff coming in well. Newy wants a big Jeep Cherokee like Richo has rather than the little Rangler.
