Back to where it all started for him. Maybe he can get them over the line.

Where did you hear that, Mr T?
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

Eddie should make Mike honour his contract and hopefully we can all sit back and watch Collingwood self destruct from the inside. Would be better than watching those Dees fans take the chains of their Range Rovers and Subaru Foresters to stay in Melbourne during the ski season.

Mick has had ultimate success as coach at clubs with $$$ and resources (Eagles and Pies). The Saints aren't one of those clubs. He probably would look at Carlton if they were struggling but Ratten is safe while they winning and in the top 4. The Crows have top resources but SA clubs don't like Vic coaches.

In what capacity could we see him return to Punt Road? Do we have a position big enough for him or could we create one? (without sacking Dimma  ;D)

Or would you downgrade Hardwick's job if Malthouse presented as an option?  :eyebrow

I couldn't see Mick leaving collingwood unless it was for a head coaching job. I don't think his services would be cheap either plus you'd have to pay out his contract he has for collingwood.

Even if Mick coaches next year he won't go near St Kilda. Their list is in a shocking state going forward and they are hardly a stable club off-field. They need a development coach who will turnover the playing list and rebuild. Plenty of pain coming for Saints supporters once the old core starts moving on.

So true FNM
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

well, that's the gospel truth then, isn't it?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
