Having 'Richmond Est 1885' underneath at least solves one of the concerns I had before of the logo not saying what it represents.

Here's a pic of the full body tiger (well near enough) that I mentioned about in the fan forum thread last night. I actually prefer it to the logo as it takes away from having so much white in the chest.

Tigger from winnie the poo.  TOo much yellow for mine.   Needs more black, and the tongue is too red and looks like a ball gag.

I understand that they paid for this logo.  Don't know how much the Club paid for it, but, whatever it cost, it was too much.

As a design job Gerks, it is a pass mark, but as it is our clubs logo, I am marking it harder.  It will work on a black background, but as soon as you put it on anything else its gonna look like balls admit it.

yes it appears to be floating, no continuity between head and torso.  I was thinking the same but held back.. stuff it lets go all out on it.  The prick took two pictures of two tigers in poses he thought he could combine, used Illustrator to trace them and turn it into vector art and pasted one over the other.  Job done, pay me now.

I think the new logo is great, but the timing of the release is curious.

Surely would have been better to release when all the footy shows etc are on air to give it maximum exposure and create a bit of fanfare? Maybe at the start of the preseason comp or something?
