Have been pretty vocal about not being a great fan of this new logo

After looking through the Summer Merch Catalogue I've actaully worked what it is about the logo I don't like  ;D

It's that bloody shield

I saw this in the catalogue:



And thought I don't mind that Tiger head. Then it dawned on me - it's the shield and the chest bit - theuy're what I dont' like about the new logo; not the actual Tiger head it actually looks good  ;D

So what I am saying that for me if that Tiger head on its own was our new logo with the Richmond Est 1885 incorporated in that I'd be giving it lots of these  :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

I think the new logo looks pretty good. Has grown on me quickly.

Its certainly a good logo.. But nowhere near as good as the old one.

I miss the old one already.

This similarity was asked about at the fan forum. The answer was the new logo was accepted by IP Australia so there's no expected legal issues.

The Herald-Sun today has only just realised our new logo looks similar to a beer logo  :wallywink

I agree. I wasn't a fan when it first appeared but I've since changed my mind. Best logo we've had.

Don't know if any of you have noticed but theres actually 2 versions of it.

One has more black in the mane and the other has more white. Dunno why they did this, the black one looks a thousand times better imo.
