I think this thread is a positive move, it paves the way for my 'Gerks is a jerk' thread.

i always considered you a pioneer, but here you are letting other blokes pave the way

The big man has me on the ropes and is moving in for the kill.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Well it seems this thread as caused alot of angst and interesting discussion

We've had a number of complaints and Mr OE and my good self have been discussing what is the best course of action  ;D

Just a couple of points:

One of the issues we have is where do we (mods) draw the line between any comment being seen as criticism or a personal attack? Why has this thread about Dimma caused so much angst?

Because if you all cast your mind back to just on 3 years ago we had 4 out of 5 posters were attacking Wallace and calling him a liar, a cheat, a phony etc we didn't have many complaints, no-one was offended, no-one asked for anything to be removed. Now return to 2011 and the last few days and there have posts that refer the current President of the RFC as a tool? Isn't that an attack on a senior person form the club?

On the general board there hasn't been one complaint when people have labelled the Prime Minister of this country a liar and that has been going for months.

Suddenly it would seem depending on "who" it is getting "attacked" the goal posts need to be moved.

But clearly in this case the majority of the tribe has spoken and we are taking that voice's views on board

Regards
WP

That is poor form.

What we need to all understand is that when you have only 10 players that are capable of playing AFL standard your going to have passengers, poor kicks, soft bodies, weak minded players that when not performing at their best look horrible.

Its not Hardwicks fault that you have to field 22 players each week.

Of our whole list you'd only have genuine faith in 10-12 of them.

Its all starting to get out of hand, hahaha
Im sure the thought has crossed dimmas mind to jump on field and show em how to do it match day, but that wont happen  ;D
In the meantime, accept what pope said- we have too many passengers and until they are replaced with better quality you will aslways have a lop sided team.
sorry to say  :(

Still waiting for a side with 22 players that can kick.

Newman Rance Houli
Deledio Astbury Grimes
Cotchin Martin Conca
Griffiths Vickery Helbig/MacDonald
King     Riewoldt Helbig/MacDonald

Foll: Derickx Foley Jackson Grigg

Interchange: Morton(?) Batchelor (?)

I believe Derickx will take over as our #1 Ruck in 2012, I just get this feeling that the kid will burst out onto the scene in the next couple of years, Ruckman with his size, mobility and skill are very rare.

I've placed Helbig and MacDonald twice on the HFF and the BP, I believe they are both our best options for the mid-sized forwards and with Helbigs massive hoof on him and MacDonald's goal sense I would prefer MacDonald closer to goal.

Actually that team on paper looks pretty darn good, very inexperienced but plenty of size, speed and skill within that group, and if Contin and Jakobi develop the way the club is hoping then I could definitely see a position within the team for them.

EDIT: Forgot to add my man Batchelor onto the bench, completely forgot about this kid but this kid has shown more class and poise under pressure then I've probably ever seen from a 1st year player playing in the blackhole that is the Richmond defence.

We've decided that the tribe has spoken and as a result we are to make the changes that the majority of the tribe wanted. Stay tuned  ;D

There will be some major editing of this thread later this evening (read when I am home and have time)

We dont have the cattle. The sooner people work that out, the better.

would have to say your 100% right.

Cattle we lack and its not Dimma's fault. his coaching has let himself down at times i agree with that and  dont like the fact that he favours some vrs others, but you have to have quality to play quality.

We have beaten no-one and it shows against quality opposition. We have been owned by the Hawks, Blues and Pies.

I hate to say it we are only half way through a rebuild and until the likes of Edwards, Mcguane, Gus, Browne, Thursfield, Hislop etc find other homes we will always be behind the 8 ball in our development
