3. Jake "Push-ups" King

Tiny, as wide as he is tall, but vastly improved and full of fight, like a yappy dog who has no idea a Rottweiler has a significant size and weight advantage and charges right in. King would teach the kids of GWS plenty about heart and dedication to training and getting the most out of yourself. Tiger fans would be gutted if he was to leave, which says everything.

The other four suggested were Franklin, Naitanui, Majak Daw and little Bulldog Luke Dahlhaus.

lets face it King is more than adequate now but him and Nahas in the same team. Aaah thats a negative

Adding to that he is 27. So by the time we challenge he will be over 30.

One of King or Nahas must be traded whilst they have currency.

Thats assuming Cameron and his mates have any clue about what they are doing which i very much doubt

the way the game is paced today, blokes like King can play well untill they're 32.

yes but him and Nahas in the same team taking us forward with Edwards and Nason lurking around. Ill pass. One only IMO.

I would take King out of the lot because the others get pushed around and its embarrassing to watch, but there is currency there, at least a 2nd rounder compo so we must look at it.

Tigers need to keep Jake King - end of story

There are some players at Footy Clubs who's value cannot be judged solely on games played and the number of possession they get each week.

Every club has them

Jake King is one of those players IMHO

Losing King for a decent pick that could be used next year in a deep draft would be a huge win in my eyes.

every player is for sale...at the right price

Brian Roberts.

Started our slide into oblivion and the same sort of 'club' player that value transcends just ability alone.

what role did the whale actually play in that? did he ask for the trade or just told he was going? was he happy about it?

No role Al, except that he didn't want to go.  We got rid of Roberts, Teasdale and Jackson in our quest for John Pitura.  You hear talk of McMahon being the worst trade of all time.  Pfft.  Nothing comes close to this doozy.  And the net result was that we damaged the fabric of our club in a way that has never been repaired.
