tigers/hardwick V hawks/clarkson.

interesting comparisons.

both took over at similar time of year. both cleaned out old deadwood straight away.

in clarksons first year the hawks finished with 5 wins and a percentage of 82
in dimmas first year we finshed with 6 wins and a percentage of 73

in clarksons second year the hawks won four of their first five.
they then suffered 6 losses, including margins of 7, 12,11, and 15 goals.

they broke their loosing streak against...guess who  ::)
before embarking on another 6 game losing streak including a 12 and a  9 goal loss, before winning the last four games.
two years later they were drinking champagne from a premiership cup

in hardwicks second year we won our first game in round 5 leaving us one win and one draw, starting a run of 4 wins in five games. we lost a couple of close ones before beating a fellow struggler.

since then we have embarked on a 4 game loosing streak, including losses of 7 and 17 goals.

Naturally none of this means we will follow exactly the same path, but don't slash your wrists yet people.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
