Jacko plays his 100th on Sunday...


Jackson will join fellow Tiger centurions Chris Newman (192), Brett Deledio (145), Brad Miller (142), Shane Tuck (135) and Nathan Foley (105).

Over his 99 league appearances, he has averaged just over 17 disposals per game and been a valuable member of the side, renowned for his grunt work in the midfield.

I remember abc commentators saying that when we lost to St Kilda a couple of years back Jackson was gone. Well he has survived rightly or wrongly. Not his biggest fan but well done to him reaching 100 games. Hopefully will give him more trade currency

He will consistently give his gun opponent a 10m head start.
He will 9 iron the ball to an opposition player, with nearly every kick.
He will average 0.5 tackles a quarter....

Josh Thurgood was brittle like a toothpick. Easily broken.
I see Jako as the heavyweight boxer Peter McNeeley. He'll talk the talk threaten to wrap you up in his cocoon of horror and by the time it took Mike Tyson to knock him out you'll be out of your seat screaming for the sub to be enforced even if that means Mitch Farmer or Benny Nason is coming on.
