Posty doesn't demand the ball anywhere near enough at AFL level. Needs to play angry and start making these effers in our midfield kick it to him when he's up forward. Also needs the coach to play him in one bloody possie. CHB or CHF. Give him the rest of the year in the seniors.

Has played about a total of 3/4 of a game of afl footy this year. Pretty hard to tell he isn't demanding the ball in that short amount of time  8). Has looked ok in all his games he's played and should have been left in the team so he can have something to build on. Playing 1/4 of a game each month is impossible to give a real impression. He's trying to find his feet each time he plays and he does reasonably well and gets dropped. Wish the club could stop stuffing him around and stop stuffing the supporters around. We all want to see him develop and we want to see that CHB back filled by this young promising player. HTFU club and play him for the rest of the season before he loses all confidence and gives it away FFS

No, it's not hard to tell. He's either not hungry or loud enough. He's got a great pair of hands and he could make our mids look like muppets for not kicking it to him when he's screaming for it and they kick it to Jake King instead  :banghead Just tell Posty to scream his nuts off for the ball whenever he's in a good position. Dont stuffing worry about what Riewoldts doing, just scream for the onion every stuffing time you have a chance to get it.

Post can play but he's going to Port with Schulzy if he doesn't get hungry and the coaches here dont smarten up

I reckon he's been given no opportunity this year. He didn't deserve to get dropped in any of his games. I have notice an improvement in his aggression and urgency though in his Coburg games over the last 12 months. But the only way to improve at afl level is to actually be given games. Not 1 game, but 3 or 4 in a row. The club are giving him a tougher run thouh so he improves the hunger and I've seen definate improvement in his hunger. Been our best player in 3 of the last 4 Coburg games with 25+ possessions and a dozen marks in each. His time has come and it's time to give him the last month to develop

McGuane and Graham should never play for us again. Shocking players IMO. Post and Grif in for these two spuds would be a start.

McGuane is only getting a game because Astbury and Grimes are injured and Gourdis is hopeless.

Agree with that MTIger.

Can't wait until he is playing like that in yellow and black. Reckon Rance, Post and Grimes will be exciting tall trio in defence. With Astbury coming through too. I'm hoping Moore doesn't stuff up Post or Grimes development next year by getting too many games.

Herald-Sun's footy barometer - Round 21

RICHMOND

INJURED:
Brad Helbig (ankle) 1 week
Daniel Connors (leg) 2 weeks
Chris Newman (knee) 3 weeks
Kel Moore (hip) Season
David Astbury (dislocated kneecap) Season
Tom Derickx (ankle fracture) Season

ON THE BLOCK: Daniel Jackson hurt his knee in the contest which also saw Eagle Matt Rosa cop a serious injury.

ON THE CUSP: Jayden Post

MICHAEL WARNER'S FORECAST: The Tigers have Sydney and Melbourne at the 'G followed by Adelaide at AAMI Stadium and North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium to round out the season. Not a bad run home. Surely there'll be something for the Tiger Army to cheer about as the Misery Express enters season 32. Post was named as Coburg's best on Saturday.

RICHMOND - In the Mix

The Tigers could lose midfielder Daniel Jackson for their match against the Sydney Swans at the MCG on Sunday. Jackson suffered a hip injury in his team's 57-point loss to West Coast at Patersons Stadium. Jayden Post and Andrew Browne were the best players for Coburg and the VFL and both are a strong chance to get a call-up to take on the Swans.
