Reckon Mcguane and Gourdis will be the 2 tall defenders who go. Thursfield has a bit to offer as a 3rd tall. I'd prefer to see Moore gone ahead of Mcguane though. Mcguane is good back up as a full back. Moore at 190cm and 90kg is below afl standard size for a full back

moore should be retired for his own benefit.
he has a degenerative injury which most probably means he has no long term future anyway.

Yeah. Having Thursfield(back stuff) and Mcguane(full back) as back ups at Coburg to Grimes(back stuff) and Rance(full back) isn't anything to worry about. Post and Astbury are good competition for centre half back. Ideally I'd like Moore and Gourdis moved on this year

Jack played well against us last time when he came on need to watch him. Mumford could prove dangerous as well

Currently any team with an in form ruckman or a decent ruckman who is out of form will trouble us.
Staggers me that we beat Freo with Sandilands.

You'd expect McGuane will be dropped for Post as Thursty had a good game last week.

Kingy very lucky to still be in the side. Lucky for him he's a coach's favourite as he's done nothing for two months. 3 goals in his last 7 games averaging just 10 possies is woeful form. His peformance this season has reflected that of the whole side. All positive up to round 9 and all downhill since.

Thinking about is some more wouldn't mind seeing Lids take on Goodes
A good idea WP. Try to make Goodes accountable and hurt him the other way :thumbsup.

What  the hell is wrong with people here are they forgeting Moore is our best defender by a mile. Can play small or big and has always did well who cares his only 190 cm.For me the biggest loss of year by a mile.Need him back along with Grimes and Astbury for the experience.

Good thing about Moore out is Rancey and Grimes (well, he did when fit) stepping up. Moore is definitely a better option than Thursty and McGuane...just hope his hip aint totally stuffed

Brett on Goodes no way. Need Brett's creativity to have any chance against the swans. Rance should have first crack at Goodes. Goodes way too strong for Brett

In your opinion  ;D

Would think Rance has really taken over his role this season and has done a great job

the nature of his injury suggests he has no long term future. The best thing for both parties, and in particular himself would be to retire him.

as it is now he faces a future of pain and immobility without subjecting him to another year or two of the rigors of modern football.

Id like to see Lids line up at Full Forward just to give him something different.

A bit of a waste given that he can kick it from 60m.
