This info is from Barrett so take it for what it's worth but he said Daniel Jackson is coming out of contract and there's a fair distance between what the club and player wants.

Should be pretty easy to sort out.

Structure a deal where he pays the club a $5000 penalty for every target missed and he will take care of the whole Fighting Tiger Fund, and give us a nest egg for the next 100 years.

Trade if a decent pick is offered by another club. If Tambling was worth a compo pick plus a 4th round pick then Jacko is worth much more than that. Melbourne gained pick 11 for Brock McLean who would be similar to Jacko.

I like the phrase "a fair distance" hopefully its about the same as that between Melbourne and Mongolia.

Hope the Rat is spot on and Jackson lines up elsewhere next year and we get something decent. Pretty sure Ratboy just makes this poo up though ;D

 He needs to be de-listed. GWS can pick him up in the rookie draft - he is no better than Daniel Harris just a year or 2 younger.

Not good enough to attract trade interest.
