Browny on Sport 927 1/3/05
« on: March 02, 2005, 01:56:29 AM »
Browny was on Sport 927 yesterday (1/3/05):

* Morwell was good hit out. Kicked 20 goals and played good footy - switching play from one side to the other and running through the lines with hands. Our skills have improved immensely since last year thanks to Royal yet we still haven't quite reached AFL standard. We started to lairise in the last quarter being so far in front but it was such a good feeling to be winning that well and getting our hands on the footy. It'll give everyone a huge confidence boost even if it was just against a reserves side.

* Rodan will be a big loss as he was showing top form in the practice games so far this year and we'll miss his hardness and hitting the lines. Also miss his upbeat personality and spirit.

* Gave Pattison a good rap. Reckons Tucky will start round 1.

* Browny to captain a young side this week. He, Bowden, Gas and Chaffey were the senior players he named. Browny says he needs the match practice as he hasn't played much so far. They get up to Alice on Thursday where it's expected to be 38 degrees. Meant to be cooler on the Friday.

* Will play a character on TFS this year but not Dr Pink.
