to get statistical improvement from last year. to allow the players to believe that they are still improving and that in time there time will come. memberships for next year and overall positivity are just some of the reasons why people wanted us to win today.

WHY now, crap, we need that pick ahead of the Crows....Ohoooo yeah great game... :whistle
::)

Please tell me what benefit is it to win now....please please please don't say..great for confidence, youth, learning, moving forward or any of the other crap phrases..

Because winning is EVERYTHING. And besides, as JT correctly points out, the "prize" for losing once "Greatest Waste of Space" has finished plundering the draft is pathetic anyway. Keep winning Tigers.

What is the benefit in losing, pick 10 as opposed to pick 12? We are not talking the difference between pick 1 and 4, there are no priority picks in play. Ridiculous to even contemplate tanking this year or last year.  :rollin

Tanking/cheating is for Carlton and Melbourne.  Nobody cares when they win because its a hollow victory.  Carlton fans are like spoiled kids who's dad buys them everything they want and then they parade around like they have achieved something.  When we beat someone they smart hard because we are building from the dust and they all think they are better than us.

If the best way of getting ahead is to tank, then I don't want to be a part of it.

Almost kicked my TV in when Jackson gave away that free kick to Goodes

Goodes should have been reported for simulation

Keep that up and you might get reinstated. The seagulls are swarming as we speak.

Daniel Jackson is 1/18th seagull. He can control them with his powerful mind. Or it could be that he looks like a giant potato scallop with sauce...  ???

Potato scallops?

That places you north of the border.

Explains a lot.
