If true what makes it even more bizarre is why we would sign him up now and not wait till seasons over in case GWS were interested.

Why rush into a contract i mean his a spud who would chase him but GWS

As much I think Jacko should be traded, there is the risk if he remained out of contract of him walking to the Gold Coast in the PSD for nix in return. The Heffernan rule no longer exists so Jacko being re-signed doesn't stop us from trading him still.

ps. Wasn't it reported a few weeks ago that Jacko was holding out for 3 years not 2?

as much as we'd all like to see jackson gone, i think the only way it will happen is if another club enquires about him in trade negotiations, as with collins. Even then i have my doubts, sadly.  :(

This is terrible news if true.

Just think, if Wallet and Miller hadn't of traded for McMuffin we would have a 100x better Jacko in Scott Selwood!  :'(

Disappointed, but not really surprised. They may have offered him round but I dont think he has much market value. last year maybe, but not this year. He's put in too many spud like performances.
Hopefully, he struggles to get a game next year.

I have been re-watching some games from this year and I am convinced we are on the right track. Why, you ask? Because we have Trent Cotchin and Dustin Martin. Easily the best young midfield duo in the game.
They will win many games for us in the future.

We dont have all the pieces yet. But our top 6 or so kids are top quality and will only get better.    :gotigers
