My guess is that we will use our first round pick and trade the rest for players.

Not sure about that stripes

Under the draft rules I am pretty sure we must use a minimum of 3 picks

From memory promoted rookies can now be included in the 3 picks.

That's true but it is still 3 "picks" so we can't trade them all away

And BTW I have a gut feeling that there will be a rookie promotion and I am not talking about MT's favourite either  ;D  ;)

The Herald-Sun has a draft order out but they don't include end of first round priority picks for the Suns, Port and Brisbane for winning just 4 games or less.

Herald-Sun has corrected the draft order to the same as the opening post of this thread.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/122666/default.aspx

So we currently have picks 14, 37, 55, 73, etc...

We have to use pick 79 from the Swans/Morton trade don't we?

I could be wrong WP but I think they abolished that rule for the compromised drafts.

besides GWS, the only other side to end up with two picks in the first round is Freo
