Possible rookie for 2012
« on: September 09, 2011, 08:19:38 AM »
Sorry OE looked for the other clubs delistings thread with no luck.

North Melbourne has delisted 2 rookies.

1 being a player called Matthew Scott.
http://www.kangaroos.com.au/players/playerprofile/matthewscott/tabid/8141/playerid/21661/category/rookie/season/2011/selected/bio/default.aspx

Won the reserves best and fairest in his first year and played every game in Werribee's seniors this year until he did his knee. Kid has serious talent and would be better than some of our listed players. Wsa tipped to go top 30 in the draft and slide to the rookie draft.

75kg is a bit light but has good size at 185cm.

Shocked he has been delisted from what I have heard he was first in line to be elevated this year until his injury. Doing his 2nd half of the season means he misses a pre season, and probably wont be back till full fitness till July next year which rules all next year out.. For a rookie that sucks.

However the kid can play and looking at our whole rookie list, he'd be better than the lot of em.

I don't think we'll take on another 75kg player. We are undersized as it is.

Didnt Norf get rid of Ben Ross. He wouldnt be a bad selection for a rookie IMHO.

Agree but at 19, 3 years younger than Edwards 2 kilos lighter, 3 cms taller and as good a skills who knows.

Weight is irrelevant pre 21 IMO. It's when the get to 22 and they haven't put size on that I start to worry.

Correct me if I am wrong but BJ Goddard was about 76 kilos when drafted?
