Delist.
Noone wanted him last year when he wanted a trade and I think the same will occur this year.
Shouldn't be on the list in 2012.
Fremantle were sniffing last year, trade fell over at the last moment I believe?

They might want him again, would allow Broughton to play more through the middle.

I reckon they will try and trade if they can't do that they'll keep

Extremely disappointing year from Will

Agree. Trade or keep. Think Goo and McGuane will be gone next year. Moore may retire this year. Will be a depth player or delisted next year if Goo's kicking improves.  :help

Wouldn't be surprised if Will's future depends on the clubs success in trying to ship off McGuane / whether or not Kel Moore recovers from his latest bout of hip surgery.
If Kel doesn't respond well to the latest batch of surgery, forced retirement would seem likely.
Should he retire, I would be looking to keep Will for one more year.  Too many others that need to go before him.

I'd keep him. Handy depth player. Moore looks like retiring and Gourdis looks like getting delisted. So that makes Mcguane and Thursfield handy depth players

Manager Anthony McConville says Will Thursfield may get squeezed out of the Tigers but they're still working with Richmond.

Here's more....

n the same position as Macaffer is Richmond's Will Thursfield, who is also managed by McConville.

The defender has been informed that there won't be a place for him at the Tigers next season unless others are traded.

"It's a similar situation to Brent in that Will's preferred option is to remain at Richmond, but it could be a situation where he might get squeezed out," McConville said.

"At the moment I'm keeping all his options open, speaking to other clubs and seeing what could come available with regards to trades and thereafter.

"We're still working through that with Richmond, and obviously they've got players up for trade at the moment.

"If those come to fruition, hopefully it might give an opportunity for Will to remain at Richmond."

Would rather keep Will than Gourdis or McGuane. Hopefully McGuane is traded.

Agree, all 3 arent the answer but I'd prefer to see Thursfield than Gourdis and we need McGuane off the list to free up some $.

Maybe to land a 'big fish' when Free Agency comes in next year? Maybe to heavily front load our stars contracts so we can fit more into the cap in a few years time!  ;)

I get the feeling that Hardwick only wants one of them at the club next year.

If Maguane goes to Brisbane, Thursty will stay.
If the Maguane trade falls through, Thursty will get the boot.

Hopefully we can get something for Maguane.

Am happy to see McGuane traded out for a pick or Tommy Rockliff or James Polkinghorne
and to keep Thursty as insurance cover.

You wont get Rockliff for McGuane LMAO
He won their B&F
He's been made vice captain
And pretty sure he just re-signed to 2014

We had a chance to draft him but took Tom Hislop  :banghead

Get rid of McGuane.
