And Cameron employed them ?? A bit of spin here?

Can tell you one wasn't flicked so get over it  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

And BTW are you that naive or stupid to think that Hardwick doesn't have some say in the members of the coaching staff that are hired  ::)

Seriously, I'd be more concerned if they kept the team the same for more than 2 years.  ::)

The game has changed so much in that short space of time that the people that were right 2 years ago may not be right now. It is part of the deal that assistant coaches are moved on regularly so that clubs can raid other clubs IP.

Get with the program and stop trying to finger CC when they are doing precisely what they should be doing.

Well that one's sorted then. I'll take the second sentence in the context of the first.

Thanks for the new signature addition ;)

I turned the signatures and avatars off to get OER to load quicker.

Makes it easier to read posts if you are not distracted by overly long signatures.

And some of the avatars are just a little disturbing.

the year was 1965 when God created the Earth and he saw that was good, except he felt he needed to include an ignore button for those rowdy moments when things get a little out of hand.  ;)

This God does not use the Ignore function.

Newett was named Coburg coach in August 2009, after being let go by North as their Development Coach.
In 2010 he took on the full time Development role with Richmond and Adam Potter was made Coburg coach.
At the same time Tim Clarke was made a Development Coach after playing for Coburg in 2009.
Would think Cameron made the decision to employ them all.
Doubt hardwick knew anything about any of these guys before they were employed.

BTW Jackstar didn't say that Hardwick didn't have any say in the decision. You verballed him. He said Cameron employed them. He's correct.
IMO Hardwick would have a veto over coaching appointments but unless he knows the guy he wouldn't use it.
In the same way if Hardwick heard good reports from anyone he would put forward a name for consideration.
Think Hardwick is too busy doing his own job and supervising HIS assistants to worry to much about hunting up Development coaches.

i would have thought Hardwick, or any coach of any club for that matter, would have a fair say in appointments such as these.

Surely he would interview, or at least have a chat, to make sure they were all on the same wavelength? To not do so would be madness.

I just cant see cameron being in some sort of dictatorship role where he solely hires, fires and makes important football decisions himself

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Agreed that Hardwick would have a fair say (I phrased it as a veto power).
Think any senior coach would, like recruitment decisions, put forward a wish list for the type of Development coach he wants but not the individual.
In the case of Newett he was employed before Hardwick came to the club.
