Hawthorn, on the brink of a Grand Final this year, has been fortunate enough to cop the Power twice.
Other teams to double up against Port are Essendon, Richmond, Fremantle and Adelaide.

Melbourne and North Melbourne are expected to at least be vying for a place in the lower part of the top eight, two outings against GWS loom as a huge advantage.

Not as good as having GWS twice like Demons and North apparently will but we should beat Port.

Port won't be the basketcase they were this year. We'll also be forced to play them at Etihad given Collo wants more games moved there. I'd rather play Bris, GC or GWS twice than Port.

COLLINGWOOD will have five interstate trips - Port Adelaide (Round 4), Brisbane (Round 7), Adelaide (Round 9), GWS (Round 18) and Sydney (Round 20).
How convenient for the Pies. No trips to Perth  ::).

Yep makes it more likely we'll end up with 2 Perth trips now  :-\

Both good points
Melbourne and nort already set to have a head start on us and it hasnt begun yet , theyre not garaunteed to win those against gws but its better than playing Geelong twice  ::)

GWS have a game at skilled. That could be as ugly as the demons game down there this year.

We will forever be forced to play low ranking interstate teams at dockland.

For all the sooking about selling the home games to play interstate, the tiger faithfull will stay away in droves because they don't like docklands and the MCG is our home ground  ::)

Talk about skin off your nose to spite your face.

Unless we can pack out docklands ( which holds around our targeted number of members ) we have no chance of getting these games shifted to the MCG.

a crowd of 30-40k at docklands creates a much more electric atmosphere than a similar sized crowd at the G as well.

Sorry not allowed to disclose what is said at meetings, otherwise we lose the smug sense of self importance.
