Next up is Daniel Connors who turned 23 today.

Dan began 2011 in the starting 22 and played in the first three games of the season before injury wrote off the rest of the year. After 5 years at Punt Rd, do you think the club will/should persist with Dan or will we try and trade him?

Connors is contracted until the end of 2012.

Thats about as terrible as you can possibly get. Injury or not, would have to play 22 games next year and finished top 12 in our B&F to get an extention.

You can't have a guy who has been in the system for 5 years have 1 season where he has played 5 games or more.

There are some seriously talented young players being delisted at other clubs who have injury prone first 2-3 seasons, yet we hang on to a Connors for 5 seasons.

We are stuck with him for a 6th, if he cant play 22 games can't possibly suggest that we look to a 7th season for 22 games out of a player that has failed to do so over more than half a decade.

Will probably get shot down as working this junk out has never been my strong point, but if it were true what the Rat said about Connors and McDud would it be worth trying to bank a 3rd rounder for at least one of them? Just in the case that another club tries to keep us honest should we commit to Morris and someone chucks a 3rd or 4th at him?
