Mentally soft.

Id move him on, but there are few in front of him.

^def a few that could go before him based on skill but i think he is going to be a "what-if" type of player/prick...teased us like a dirty whore with his 2010...that "soft tissue injury" dragged on waaaay too long & he's never seemed able to grasp the whole mental requirements of afl - probably will become a local league legend somewhere...

Unless we get a fair trade for Danny - he wont be going anywhere

trust me - if we let him go for nicks, he will be a star for another club

he's a prodigious talent no doubt, sheesh we havent got much to judge him on 2011, but 2010 was near enough to AA material :shh

So what do you think is fair trade?

Over our mid season revival where we won five from 6 games?
Hardly. How many players play half a season and then do nothing more for their careers. Clear downhill skier.

lol turn it up camboon - he has talent but doesnt have the dedication and mental focus to be an afl player let alone a star. Hes finished, needs to be cut

He was injured all year - nothing to do with dedication as his injury was a result of over training pre season ( over dedicated?) -  but of course you remembered that   :whistle
I believe he may be involved with a player swap - but early days yet -  based on age, talent and potential he has value in the market.

Yeah but what's his value?

Everyone knows I am not a fan so I reckon we'd lucky to get a 2nd rounder for him or in player swap situation what would you get? I woild think a Grigg type deal would be the best you'd could get and that's not that great a deal

Agree with your assessment WP, but some have put him up as a 4th round or worse and if that was the case I believe we will keep him!

Well I was a fan of Connors but I think it has come the time to sever ties with Dan, I don't think he will amount to much now, although maybe one more year injury free..........eh WP.... :lol

Most players are lucky to play a dozen games before they are 20. Connors was injured all this year and suspended half of last year. How's he supposed to play?  8)

Best to sever ties with him. Best for us and best for him.
Hopefully we can get a trade with another club in a direct player for player swap.
