Brisbane yesterday denied interest in Richmond defender Luke McGuane. "A defender is not our priority," Kerr said.

Damn, the Lions put someone other than Vossy in charge of their recruiting this year lol.

Sadly it was too good to be true  :P. Only the Suns could be a remote possibility now otherwise Luke will be stuck playing at Coburg for the whole of 2012.

Look on the positive side delisting him next year frees up a spot on the list to draft a player in the 2012 draft which is apparently pretty strong.

Not saying he isn't like, I am sure he is a good bloke. IMO he isn't in our best 22, he is not the way forward for our club, and we should get anything we can for him while we can.

Batchelor and Grimes showed more this year then he did.

Forget this - not even on the radar now.

Brisbane chap was on draft radio and said about a month ago they looked at it but since then have re-evaluated their list and come to the conclusion he is not required.

The dream is over  :(
