Latest rumour today on SEN (Wallace was talking about it):

As part of a deal sending Goddard to Carlton, Richmond gets Jarrad Waite.

Instead of McLean?

They are both injury prone.

Too old (turns 29 early next year) and too injury prone.

do carlton want a forward line of midgets? They desperately need tall forwards and they want to trade one of their only options away?  8)

Saints have stated they aren't trading Goddard and Carlton have stated they aren't chasing him.

Are you jarrod Waite?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Carlton could most probably re-negotiate Waites contract and back end a chunk into 2013 when he becomes a veteran. No one else will take that veterans role at Blues so this makes little sense
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”
