Sounds about fair. For basically a future prospect of being number 1 draft player next year.
Give's the current crop of GC mid fielders a year to cement there positions.
GC doesn't really need much out of this draft IMO. The coaches need another year to get a good view on there current youngsters they have now.

Yep, fair deal, they could afford to pay as much as they did and were happy to.

What are Adelaide giving to get that #2 pick?

According to Emma Quayle the Crows get the rights to mini-draft pick #2 (Crouch) as well as Norwood player Luke Brown for pick 10 and the Phil Davis compo pick.

Yep.

Luke Brown is eligible for pre-listing as he nominated for last year's AFL national draft.

GWS now have 11 of the first 14 picks in the National draft  :o.

If the draft was as strong as 2005 they would pick up - 1. Murphy, 2. Thomas, 3. Ellis, 4. Kennedy, 5. Pendlebury, 7. Ryder, 9. Clark, 10. Drum, 11. Higgins, 13. Hurn, 14. Birchall

Then add poachings Scully, Ward, Davis and Palmer.

They might struggle to win a game for 3 years but in 5-7 years they'll have a top 4 side.

We now have the 4th non-GWS pick in th draft. Just shows the value of our first rounder now.

They'd have a poo backline. Davis CHB. Ryder is useless. Whose FB?  :lol

Be interesting to see who GWS draft and to watch there progression compared to GC's list.
