well thats great then - we proactively shopped around Mcguane and Connors when they had "defining seasons" and were at optimum value :)

What has happened in previous years is not relevant to most people in trade week 2011

I know it maybe to you but to reat of us who cares  ;D

WELL IF THEY DID PUT NAHAS UP, THEY WOULD GET A DECENT PLAYER IN RETURN.

Yeah but who? Name a decent player that in your opinion trading Nahas could land us

Can you answer it? I would have thought it is a simply question

So I'll ask again Nahas would get us who exactly

Your failure to answer a simple question speaks volumes  ;D

As for trading our players, would look at any player that has a defining year.
I doubt whether Nahas will perform as good again

Ok I will bite

Tell me if they traded Nahas which "big fish" would that get us

Its laughable that the RFC offer Connors McGaune and co up for trade , why ? at the others clubs think they are useless.
offer someone with a bit of currency eg Nahas etc.
And you will be amazed what the other clubs will put on the table ;)
The best trade we EVER done was in 1993/1994 when we traded out Captain( Hoggy) to Fitzroy, for Mick Gale and Paul Broderick.

What is laughable is as usual you have refused to answer the question  :banghead :banghead

I asked you if we offered up Nahas what would it get us, what big fish would it land us

As per normal you have failed to answer the question

So I will ask again: trade Nahas for who? Who, which "Big name", big fish would he get us?

Surely you have answer

I'd like Gold Coast's pick 32 and Brisbane's 34

McGuane for 34
Jackson, Morton or Connors for 32
Can throw pick 55 into one of those trades as a sweetener

Gives us 15,32,34,73 + Maric + Morris

Offer Macaffer a juicy contract, pass with pick 73 and take him in the PSD

Thank you very much, thanks for playing

I can effing dream with the rest of you ferals can't I?  :P

^ ditto that...sounds like a successful trade week...(and yes you can dream with the rest of us ferals :) )

...thanks for playing, thank you ballboys, thank you linesman....

There's a few people in here who have too much to say about certain players. These people probably have double chins and kick like girls  8)

Honestly, whats the point.
I could put up 2-3 players from all clubs, but you would still bag me.
Pointless exercise as are the 3 pages of this thread

...can we get involved in a trade for Caddy?

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/young-gun-josh-caddy-keen-to-help-his-dad/story-fn69a32t-1226167500775

...obviously wants to come home & despite nominating Essendonks as his preferred option, might be able to negotiate something...would have to give up a bit by the sound of it but surely we've got some "experienced/bigger bodies" that we could use to sweeten the deal???

...thoughts??

I wouldn't mind picking up Caddy but they've rejected Bombers offer of pick 19.
Which would mean we would have to offer our first round or compo pick and at least still add a decent player to the deal to get him. unfortunately I don't think we are in a position to draft away a first round pick and player at the moment.
