I don't think the club has taken Miller off the senior list on the RFC website since he was promoted earlier in the year. Having said that he probably will be promoted for 2012 if he decides to play on  :P  :scream.

This article says he's staying on the rookie list FWIW.

BRAD MILLER TO MAKE A DECISION

BRAD Miller has been offered a new deal at Richmond, but is still considering his future after what should be considered an extremely successful year.

He was hailed as a superb clubman, kicked 17 goals from 14 games, and helped the club's offensive structure by taking the focus off Jack Riewoldt.

But with Richmond still keen to develop its talls like Ben Griffiths, David Astbury, Jayden Post and Matt Dea, the club cannot guarantee him games.

He would remain on the rookie list if he stayed on next year and potentially play only a handful of games.

He is to come back to the club soon with a decision, but he can't lose either way.

Richmond's decision to extend his career paid off, and even if he played a year in the VFL next season he can hold his head high.

Would have no problem keeping Miller on another year.
Is a good character to have around. Young players need guidance and seasoned campaigners around.

He is no star, but is far from our worst. As tiga said, as soon as somebody else is ready to match or trump his output then he will drop straight down to the Burgers. Hopefully Griff can do this next year.
A forward line with Vickery, Jack and Griff has the potential to be extremely potent.   :thumbsup

Miller should be delisted alone for allowing his son to become a Carlton supporter  :P

Agree. Who cares if Miller is a nice bloke, one goal a game for a tall forward is crap, even if it is more of a HFF position at the tiges. This has been Miller's problem his whole career, he only kicks one goal a game! It just isn't good enough for a tall forward. He is absolutely useless unless he gets it delivered lace out, has got no loose ball skills and cannot reach below his knees. He is an awful kick.

Alright he gave off a few handballs that ended up in goals. This does not make him the messiah. If he plays in front of Post again this year then you might as well get Fevola.

May as well rookie Mick Malthouse. He would provide good leadership, be able to teach the young blokes plenty and do stuff all on the field.

Malthouse is the playing equivilant of Miller.

Post is a backman.  I'd rather see Astbury or Griffiths up forward than Miller or Post.

The updated players' list on the RFC website has Miller on the senior list and zero rookies.
