Gieschen could leave AFL umpires

By Kim Hagdorn

AFL umpires boss Jeff Gieschen could be headed back into coaching.

Gieschen has been linked with a possible move to coach powerful WAFL club Claremont.

If he proceeds through an extensive interview procedure being conducted by the reigning WAFL premiership outfit, Gieschen is tipped to be the raging favourite to win the appointment.

Formal applications to be considered for Claremont’s head-coach appointment close late on Sunday, November 13.

From today's Herald-Sun:

"AFL umpires' boss Jeff Gieschen has rejected an approach to coach WAFL club Claremont.

But Gieschen confirmed his passion to coach again was undimmed. "Once a coach, always a coach,'' Gieschen said last night...."

Damn! :(

Once a coach always a coach?

coach isnt the word starting with C that i would use there.

It's debatable if the fool ever has actually been a coach anyway.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Yahweh? or the great Clawski?
