That's just sad  :P  :lol

Seriously if that's the "best" we can put together over 25 years then that sums up why we've been crap for 25 years. Thanks to our recruiters down the years :-X.

Couple of outstandings

A few really goods who will be outstanding in the next 10 years

A few really good ones

And some "oh dear - that explains it"  ;D

Andrew Kellaway came from our then supplementary list so technically he shouldn't be counted in that side but clearly RFCO and co. were desperate to find any key defenders. That interchance bench is hilariously terrible for 25 years worth of drafting :rollin.

Was Knights not a draftee?

Sheesh....Chaffey, Tape, Bulluss, Naish, Torney, Nicholls....honest players but, best 25, says it all as others have said.

What about the Birdman or Scotty Turner??

Keep in mind that we peed away a lot of quality draft pics on recycled players as band aid solutions. IMO, Hardwick is the first coach in the past 25 years who has realised that we needed to rebuild from scratch.

Nah don't think so he came through the last batch of Under 19s

Those were the days Under 19, reserves & then the Seniors  :clapping :clapping

Knighta for memory played in all 3 levels the year he made his debut

Int:   Kayne Pettifer,

IMHO KP Pettifer making the bench in the "best team of draftees" sums up our overall recruiting in the first 20 years of the draft  :'(

Think we've got more right in the last 5 years than we've got wrong

And seriousyl I reckon they'll be hanging their hat on getting Jack at what was it? pick 12 for the next decade  ;D

Was actually Greenberg and Wayne Campbell that put the team together.

25 years of drafting and only needing to pick 22. That's just awful.

I would have put Rance in there if they were so desperate!

Our drafts post 2007 look like they will produce some good footballers.

We have improved our recruiting since Hardwick came on board but our recruiting before this as a whole was substandard and we have paid the price for it

Players that didnt play out their careers at the club that are 100 game players havent been included

eg Rodan, Merenda, J Murphy ... then there was the Justin Charles situation. Fiona should also be in the team.
