Full phantom draft here: http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/126378/default.aspx

Here's who they have for Richmond:

15. Richmond - Sam Docherty
Height: 185cm
Weight: 83kg
DOB: 17/10/93
Club: Gippsland Power
Draft range: 12-20
The Tigers are looking for an injection of class coming out of the back half and they need look no further than Docherty. His poise, decision-making and disposal by foot under pressure had him in the mix for the Lions and Greater Western Sydney higher up the order, but Richmond will happily take him off the board here. Docherty overcame the disappointment of not making the initial Vic Country squad to force his way back into the team late in the carnival. He wasn't named in the team booklet for the match against WA at Skilled Stadium, and his many possessions were accredited to another player, but he immediately caught the eye with his creativity and dash from defence.

26. Richmond - Jordan Murdoch
Height: 190cm
Weight: 80kg
DOB: 23/3/92
Club: Glenelg
Draft range: 22-32
The fleet-footed South Aussie half-forward fills a need for the Tigers and is an exciting prospect to boot. Murdoch gave Joel Wilkinson's 20m sprint record a nudge at the SA state screening and, at 190cm, has the sort of mobility that will make a forward line containing Jack Riewoldt more unpredictable. He's a long kick off his left boot, which he employs well on the run, and he can also find a target inside 50 when he roams further afield.

55. Richmond - Addam Maric
The Tigers bring the former Demon into the fold with pick 55. Maric was a highly rated junior who never hit his straps at Melbourne and will be a shrewd pick-up if Punt Road is just the change of environment he needs to kick start his career.

SO where does that leave McCarthy  :-\

We either have to PASS on pick 55 for McCarthy or de-list another play before the PSD if we intend to use pick 55 in the Nat Draft

Hmmmmm  ;D

McCarthy wouldn't be training and turning down Port offers if we didn't have a plan IMO  :)

As much as I'd love Adams, I'd be over the moon acquiring Docherty as he has been my favorite all along.  :pray

That Murdoch looks like he'd be handy for bench/Vickory rotations and a fall back if Griff doesn't ever fire. I do get worried about interstate draftees though. Lately there seem to be a whole lot getting home sick.

And considering everything I'd nearly lock PokéMaric in at 55.

Seeing as Adams has been invited to the draft, he'd have to go in the top 10.

Doesn't putting Newman on the vet's list free up a spot in the Pre season Draft??
Are we likely to do this at he next list lodgment?
And what about the couple of players that seem to be Awol?? Any chance of a late delisting....... :o

Murdoch seems to have good pace. Anyone know how well he kicks the footy? If his kicking is up to scratch then at 26 he would be a good selection.

On work smoko at the moment so can't look up much, but the little tidbit says he is a long kick off the left and employs it well an can find a target inside 50.

Murdoch seems crazy quick, in his highlights package at least. I could see the merit behind us grabbing him...

They invite about 20 kids just in case someone pulls a Fiora

Would Newman to the veterans list free up a spot for McCarthy?

Yeah it would but why wait until list lodgment number 3 to do that  :huh

Another de-listing though would spice things up  ;D ;) ;D

Goodbye Connors? Gourdis??

Maybe they are waiting to see if there is a good option available at 55, they might make 3 picks if one they want slips, we will see  :P
