nah, not true, sometimes sideways
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

One spoil the highlight of his game, for some reason he reminds me of a bobblehead. Totally useless for any significant purpose other than his ability to jiggle his head around when he runs.

The coaches really needs to go back to the drawing board in relation to Ellis and revisit what his role really is in this side. At the moment he just seems to have no impact with any possesions. He simply is not a danger to opposition teams even when accumilating 30 + possesions. He is still only young so maybe he can still turn things around.

I was never a big fan but he's regression since the start of '15 is startling. Have to think it's something to do with the coaching as well.

21 possesions last night and I would say none had a positive impact toward our cause except for his excellent spoil late in the game. Maybe he just gut runs too much to the point where when he actually gets the ball he hasnt got the energy to execute with any skill.

He actually reminds me in a way to Morris although Ellis does actually accumulate possessions where both players cover alot of territory but have minimal if any impact on the final result.

It's taken only one week to abandon playing Brandon across half-back.

Brandon Ellis is set to return to the midfield against Collingwood after being moved to half-back against Carlton to cover the Tigers' spate of injuries in that part of the ground.

With Chris Yarran (foot) and Reece Conca (hamstring) both sidelined for at least five weeks each, Hardwick said the club was on the lookout for a player to become a "weapon" in that position.

"We tried (Ellis) down back and he probably wasn't that great and we threw him back in the midfield and across the wing and he played a lot better," the coach said.

"It's a position we're still looking to fill at this stage, but we'll trial a few other things this week to see how we can get that working for us.

"We're looking for someone to solidify in that position for us."
