Tigers of Old?
« on: November 25, 2011, 04:01:22 AM »
I grew up post 1980. I was raised on tales of courage and glory in the good ol' days but only saw glimmers of it on the footy field. With talk of "aggressive, hard, tough, wins the ball, competitive, skilled" being thrown around about our growing list of players- It seems to me like we are trying to develop a new brand of footy by getting back to some of our roots. What do you guys reckon?? Is there hope yet? Are we becoming like the tigers of old?

Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...
