A veteran Inside the list means he is one of 38 on the senior list

If he was listed Outside the senior list he wouldn't be counted as one of the 38 but it would mean you lose 1 rookie spot

To be honest who knows why they've done it  ;D

They must have 38 senior listed players.

They want to draft McCarthy

They need a free spot to draft McCarthy, could have done it with moving Newman to veterans list outside the senior list but have chosen not too

As I said who knows  :-\

Newy remaining inside the senior list gives even more credence to the word that Goo has gone. We'll find out tomorrow anyway.
