He needs to be horse whipped and packed off back to hillbilly territory where he can get back to shoveling pig poo and shagging the local livestock instead of being a tiresome burden on the club.  How many blokes missed out in the draft would give their left aggett to get the chances he did?  Talent is not a ticket to act like a spoiled brat.

going back to allroy gilligan, every player who has been given a leave of absence to sort out personal issues has found themselves no longer on the richmond list at the end of the year.

Connors remains home

richmondfc.com.au 7:54 AM Wed 30 Nov, 2011

While Richmond players are undertaking their pre season camp in Phoenix, Arizona, this week, team-mate Daniel Connors has remained at home in Melbourne.

Connors is dealing with some personal issues, and will return to training with the Tigers in due course.

This is effing ridiculous.

Does Connors play with a nappy on?
Go Tigers!

Probably shows the pressures and dedications required to play AFL footy is hard enough without additional personal issues/demons.

The Club must still be holding out on hope as Dan wasn't delisted yesterday.

thus the heavier emphasis in character when recruiting. It will be interesting to see if they try any risky high reward types again when we have a more mature and stable list.

RT (Ruthless Tiger?) on BF is saying that the personal issue has to do with a family member rather Dan himself.

Never should have been drafted, shocking blue from recruiters.

If true that would then explain why he wasn't delisted.

Geez Connors just cant get his act together and have a full, continuous & breakout pre-season.

Really has to get his body to an optimal level in this pre-season to have any chance of sustaining an AFL career.

If he uses this break to acheive a skin fold and fitness base he may have a chance when the boys crank it up in January, if not his papers will be well & truly stamped for VFL where he will be deemed a list clogger after 6 years in the system.

Your move Dan, display maturity or be finished up in 10 months.

if it was a girlfriend you would have ditched her 2 years ago.

High maintenance with every excuse under the Sun.

Nothing can be without drama.

RFC needs men who can deal with personal issues and play football NOT guys who cant handle reality and professional life.

Goodbye.
