Geez Geez thats only colts level....I thought it must have been him on senior debut or something, thought that was the explanation for him looking like a bunny in quite a few of those highlights. good luck to you steven :o

you can really sea how raw this kid is in this video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7NbEWgC2Wo&feature=related

he has something to work with though, a number of times he beats two or more opponents for the ball.

you can see how far he has to come along to make it.
Just further proof you can't rely on youtube clips to judge these kids. The one on the RFC site shows only Verrier's best highlights and if you just used it to base your view of him you'd scratch your head wondering how he wasn't picked up in the National draft. This one al is far more realistic and shows Verrier's good and bad  :-\. He looks like a kid who wants to play on at all costs which is not necessarily a bad thing in modern footy but he does it all the time even when it's vey low percentage play which is why he stuffs up half the time. Hopefully with some proper development he can become more aware of when to play on and when not to and show more control of the footy. At the moment as a junior he is playing Russian roulette football which looks great when he pulls it off but will cost plenty of goals going the other when he doesn't pull it off.

I like how you are relying on a YouTube clip to judge this kid after saying you can't  :lol

I think MT means you can't judge guys off highlight clips. You can make any old crab look good on a highlight clip. The youtube ones show pretty much every play they're involved in for that game. Steve V is very raw but I can see why they picked him up. Will a fair chunk of the year in the 3rds though, imo

Nice guy. Met him at the family day last year. Had a chat. Came across as a good character. At that stage he was bantamweight.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.
