Foxtel Richmond brochure
« on: December 20, 2011, 04:47:38 PM »
Did everyone else here receive a Richmond Foxtel brochure of a #8 jumper with your name on the back? Is this something especially for Richmond supporters/members or are they doing this for all clubs to promote their 2012 coverage and the new tv deal the signed?

Affirmative big fella, received here.

Good marketing, I'm assuming it's done for all clubs.

But WP, as per my earlier info, they (the badged remotes) will be available for general purchase early in the next year.  Wrong thread I know but................................... no excuses.   ;D

Yep WP it's only for new subscribers up until the end of December.

The package is Foxtel with sport for $50 a month (min. 12 months) plus another $100 for installation (standard STU only). For that Foxtel will donate $50 to the RFC and you get a $25 Richmond merchandise voucher plus a Richmond Foxtel remote.

Sorry smokey but my "Care Factor" about the remote is 0

It's just very annoying that while Foxtel are focusing on trying to get new subscribers (no surprise they have to pay for the footy somehow) they continue (aka refuse) to offer existing customers anything

I don't believe you WP.

It is my strong understanding that such an object, badged in such a way would give you intense pleasure.

You have to get on to the Whirlpool forums WP, if your Foxtel is through Foxtel, just threaten to leave and the day before you cut off you'll be paying 50% less to have a better package  :rollin

That's just life. Loyalty does not mean much, always chasing the dollar so new customers are the go. No point complaining about it.

yep thats the one I got    can sympathies about the loyalty factor bit like when the club offers late joining members special deals   if they was true tigers they would of joined up early and not of been persuaded by a pot of gold   here ends 632's rant of the day

Especially when he presses the "smell-a-vision" button at the same time as the "vibrate-a-vision" button.  Intense is not the word!!   ;D

This is highly unorthodox and inappropriate.
