Is Newy even in our best 22? Should he be made to earn his way into the side?

We finished off the year well, maybe we should go against the Blues without him and see how the boys go. They have owned us for the last twenty years or so anyway and we are the underdogs.

If anyone expected us to win we wouldn't be at 4.95

He's underrated, like him or not nick Maxwell helped the magpies get a flag through his on field leadership and yet he's not their best player and possibly not even their 22nd best player. I'd have newy over Maxwell as a player and he is the perfect back line general. Not sure why posters don't rate him, he's not a shut down defender but neither are half today's back flankers and hes in our best 3 kicks in the starting 18

If he's not getting a game with us, a bloody good player will be in his place.
He'd be an intergal part of most teams best 22 let alone ours.
