DID THE SAME THING! The queue for Dusty and Cotch went all the way across the oval and into the stands by midday, massive turnout. Looked a bit unorganized.

Anyone with any pics of the guernsey presentation and crowd at Punt Rd? The crowd looked huge on the news tonight.

The toilets where a joke.
The food a joke.
More tent for the players to sign would be a good start.

Why was the social club not open again?

Why did we not run tours of the club rooms?

Why was not more mad of TFTF?
With so many people the club missed a big chance today.

great response from tiger supporters, imagine when we are up and about!!!

im sure next year will be better sorted, but geez gotta love the strength in numbers
that we can pull and its not like we have been world beaters for 20 odd years.

i think the right move is for it to be held at our spiritual ground every year...mind you i live off
Bridge rd so im sorted...

People love a whinge.........

It was a fabulous day. Point blank.

Who the hell wants to eat lunch there  :huh
We had a late breaky in Richmond and wandered down.

I'd never worry about getting autographs on a day like that as it is obvious the queues will be long. If you went there to get autographs expect to wait a long time.  ;D
The December Christmas thingo was perfect for that type of thing.

We kept it pretty simple, kids did the spekky marks and the kicks for goal, had an ice cream (picked one thing which required a wait of more than 5 minutes) and watched the player presentations before heading home.

8000 Tiger fans on a glorious March day made up for the minor inconvenience of queues for the toilet (they just need more mobile facilities) and the missed opportunity of making the merchandise marquee much bigger. That shop seems too small and is always crowded when I visit.

Great Day Tigers, keep it at Punt Rd and add more mobile toilets along with Tucker and 10 flags souva making skills!
It's that simple Spud

Pigs you reckon = stupid comment ... did you go?

Gee I dont' know 8000 people and about ten tiolets to cater for them = not a great set up

Again 8000 people and 2 food places that struggled to keep up with demand

It's not about whinging it is about the simple fact that the club clearly under-estimated how many were going to turn up ....

At least they will know for 2013

Yes correct WP, they will most likely get it correct for next year.
Has been a fair while since the last there.
Was a great day and the positives far outweigh the few negatives
Seeing its the first one at punt rd in yonks, it would be hard to gauge exactly how many would turn up.
And some here speculated 3-4k and we got double that, who was to know??

If anything to critique that couldve been changed- possibly the ME Bank autograph tent with axl, cotch, dusty and tucky. Way too popular- should have put 1 or 2 of those on the brooks tent. As it was oh so lonely down there.

But as someone else here said if you went solely for autographs?? It was always going to be tough to get them all.

Great day and thankyou RFC

If people were so dying to go have a pee why didnt they go down the road to the Westpac Centre and pee on that. pee on Collingwood. Thats what real Richmond people would have done  ;D

Surely Coke as a club sponsor could of been asked to support the day with a few drink caravans.it ain't that hard to organize
Club could of also done a deal with local traders to participate as well
