Interested to gauge people's thoughts on the value of some of these. They are taken from TAB sports bet as a general indication (there are obviously better odds about). I've provided a full range of odds now so if they come in or blow out in the future they can be referenced back to today.

Richmond Premiership:- $67
Richmond to finish top:- $81
Richmond to finish top 4:- $11
Richmond to finish top 8:- $3.25
Richmond to finish 9-17:- $1.30
Richmond to win wooden spoon:- $151

Cotchin Brownlow:- $51
Martin Brownlow:- $51
Anyone else:- $17

Riewoldt Coleman:- $11
Vickery Coleman:- $251
Martin Coleman:- $500

Round 1 - Richmond win over Carlton:-  $3.45

None of the odds suit but if I was to have a bet on it -

I would take

Cotchin at $51 and
Riewoldt at $11

wouldnt touch any of the futures bets. I would take to make the final 8 at 6s or better but 9-4 is just pox

martin for the brownlow at 50s could be an OK bet.

what margin are they offering for the line bet rnd 1?

Given Jack won it then finished 3rd with a number of injuries, the Coleman bet looks like easily the best value

What's Edwards paying for the Brownlow?

I just got a feeling about him...

Is there a market for the Liston Medal? I'm all over Jackson for it.

Jack for the Coleman has gone from $11 to $7.

Richmond top 8 has gone from $3.25 to $3.00

Martin and Cotch still at $51 for the Brownlow

Will be a two horse race between Jack and Buddy. :thumbsup

$3.00 for the top 8 is juicy and if we lose to Carlton it'll be 4 bucks. Its funny that in a two horse race we are at greater odds than over the course of a season making the 8 against a side who have gone poorly and is underdone in the pre season.

Markets can be deceiving and it depends on how people outlay their money.

I remember in 2005 Collingwood after Brownie tore them a new ringhole in the last quarter left them 1-7 for the year yet they were favourites for the spoon and $26 for the flag. :lol :rollin :lol

Richmond to beat Carlton in from it's original $3.45 to $3.00 as late as last week, in to $2.80 at the start of this week and today, $2.70. If you're thinking of jumping on you'd want to do so quickly - you've missed the cream already and it's probably getting too late.

Martin Brownlow is in from $51 to $34 following the cats game, however Cotchin at $51 remains my longshot pick there.

Riewoldt to win the Coleman is great value at $7 - I jumped on at his original $11 but $7 is still juicy, and if Buddy goes down with an injury he's just about a lock for mine.

Tigers to make the 8 at $3.00 is still the pick. I jumped on at $3.25, but there also may be merit in waiting til round 5 as the odds will blow out if we dont negotiate the tough start to the season well.

Also FWIW value in Freo making the 8 at $1.90 and St.Kilda to miss the 8 at $2.45 are both good.

I reckon Pav for the Coleman might be worth a flutter. I can see him playing mainly forward.

Gee guys I got $4 for the Tigers to make the 8 on Sportingbet today. Sounds like TAB sportsbet is not the best around.
