Biggest mistake Whitney made outside of the drungs was getting involved with that pig Bobby Brown

Biggest mistake was getting involved with Kevin Costner, i'll never forgive him for what he did to her

and of course the drungs

They say they don't know the cause of death but I blame Bobby brown.
I think the more likely suspect is Barry White and lots of him.

Don't worry, now that she's dead she'll be remembered as the perfect human being and as close as everyone's mother.

What a load of celebrity worshipping crap.

There's something in that for sure.

Saddest thing is no-one seems shocked by it

The writing was on the wall. She looked out of her mind most performances lately.

And she was so clean cut and non-threatening. The pinnacle of decency, was Whitney. I blame everyone but her.

Sad what people do to themselves but it's their own doing.

It's sad that she died so young, but I was NOT a fan. That histrionic caterwauling in the Bodyguard song was just excrutiating to my ear. And the syrup-y sentimentality of the lyrics in the greatest love of all were a real two fingers down the back of the throat job...

I'm with you on that , Rolls
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

I think its a matter of musical preference that determines our sentimentality towards performers who have left this world prematurely in suspicious or less than illustrious circumstances.

My Legends
------------------------
Jim Morrison
Jimi Hendrix
Jeff Buckley
Bon Scott
John Bonham
Kurt Cobain
Marc Bolan
Jeff Porcaro
Freddy Mercury
Phil Lynott
Jonathon Melvoin
Elvis
Chet Baker

People who I don't care a whole lot about.
--------------------------------------------------
Whitney Houston
That Milli Vanilli dude
Michael Jackson
Janis Joplin
Amy Winehouse
Bjork (well she sings like she's dead)
Michael Hutchence
Ike Turner

 :cheers

I remember when my idol Layne Staley died as a result of prolonged drug abuse, I just thought "good riddance." It gives close family, friends and massive fans a relief that we no longer have to worry for their suffering.
