Re-watching the Suns v Lions match waiting for Poo v Scum to start. Karmichael Hunt looks more comfortable and more like a footy player playing inside mid, just bashing and crashing packs and tackling opposition ball winners.

Also Billy Longer... Doesn't look like the queer string bean from draft night. Got some decent meat on him. Lions look set with schLonger and the Burger   :-\

Apparently the AFL have reduced the length of the halves because of the heat. It's 30 degrees FFS and they are short games anyway

35-36 degrees Coach and all they've removed is the time on component, halves now 17.5mins

Also increased interchange benches

Ump's mail was that Port had to win a game. The last 5 mins were terrible. Hardly any footy played. Just successive frees, 50s, and technical crap.

what about that soccer goal that was touched on the line? Maggots didn't even review it. WTF is the point of a video review if you don't even use it.

Blessed with the 9er at half time too. If Blues play like this round 1 then we've got them by 45pts lol

I agree. The whole afternoon was like that. Hardly any footy played, just the umps blowing up their self importance and ruining the game.

Sloppy. Over hand balled, miss kicks, fumbles, put themselves under heaps of pressure and looked generally junk.

Did anyone watch tonights game? Sounds like Campbell Brown didn't have a good night.

Yeah I did (got the replay on in the background now as I troll the net). Brown was worse than usual  :lol. At one point he wanted to be the hero and shirt front Selwood, but instead cleaned up his own man.... who was running with the ball  ;D

In other news: Bock looks dangerous up forward, Karmichael Hunt plays inside a lot better than the lock down defending position he had last year (won quite a bit of footy, dodged some players while carrying the ball and helped set up scores, and bashed and crashed packs around the footy/stoppages), Prestia is going to be another gun. O'Meara is going to be a freak if he's winning ball and making play at only 17... We're going to have to get our finger out if we want to have the wood over this lot during the next few years.

Cats played 11 snot noses in the second half and their kids wiped the floor with the Suns. Training in a premiership environment is a massive advantage and our young blokes are going to have their work cut out for them.
