A few more injuries happened tonight. Freo's Michael Johnson and Luke McPharlin. Seem's like a bad weekend for injuries.

Port ended up smashing the demons 112 - 64. Port lost Jackson Trengove in the first quarter due to finger injury.

Yep so come round 1 when the Dees smash the Lions at the G minus Brown and Merrett all those in the MCC will wait a little while longer possibly two weeks before reality sets in again for the 48th year in succession confirming their reservations at either the Mt Buller and Mt Hotham ski chalet.  :thumbsup

I wonder in round 1 how many of those MCC toffs know who Mitchell Clark is and where he came from. :lol :rollin :lol

Colin Sylvia has suffered two minor spinal fractures and will miss the next six weeks. Butcher was reported for rough conduct so he may be in some trouble now with the MRP.

Ive also seen this prique give a few cheap shots to our players last time we met, umpire covienently had the notebook in his back pocket  ::) ::)

Adelaide have won the NAB Cup defeating West Coast by 34 points at AAMI stadium.
It's their first piece of silverware since defeating Collingwood in the pre season decider in 2003.

Carlton ahead of North by 3pts at half time. SEN reporting Carlton in control for most of the game thanks to a well gelled fwd line, but sloppy disposal and poor ball retention by their midfield has let the Kangas back into the game.

Also, Carlton trying to play one speed footy - at 110% is putting pressure on themselves.

Sounds like they are forcing themselves to play a brand of footy that is not clicking properly at this stage of the season

Woohooooo!

But Carlton coming back now. Gee, if North can hang on Carlton will be winless in the pre-season and mentally would have question marks of themselves for round 1
